As representatives of the company, members of the Customer Account Team must remain forthright, positive and professional. Responsibilities and Duties
- Communicating with customers through email and phone, including follow-ups related to quotes, orders and outstanding deliveries
- Developing and maintaining a general working knowledge of ALP Supply’s product lines in order to assist customers with basic inquiries that do not require the assistance of ALP Supply’s Technical Support Team
- Utilizing ALP Supply’s distribution management software, Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), to create sales orders & quotes, maintain customer information and monitor supply chain updates
- Engaging in daily communication with other company departments, including purchasing and order fulfillment, as well as our vendors
- Collaborating with the ALP Fabrication Division on specific customer projects separate from general sales orders
- Additional day-to-day customer support tasks
- Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
- Experience with distribution ERP software, preferably Epicor Prophet 21 a plus
- BA/BS degree or relevant experience

- Complete daily tasks within appropriate timelines, per QC Manager’s instructions

- Able to lift and carry approx. 30 lbs
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- BA/BS degree or equivalent

- Check lifting & handling products, concrete accessories of precast concrete products with gauges and related equipment to stay in compliance with specifications and quality control tolerance
- Prepare and record information to track results of testing procedures into database
- Moving, picking, packing and labeling boxes and crates into and out of the designated Quality Control zones
- Complete daily tasks within appropriate timelines, per supervisor's instructions
- Develop and manage company’s Safety program
- Overseeing OSHA compliances for safety policies and make appropriate safety recommendations for our multiple warehouse locations
- Ensure Company safety policies and procedures are effective and meet regulatory compliance and reinforce proactive approach to safety
- Develop and Implement the safety orientation program and conduct new employee safety orientation
- Manage third-party safety providers and processes
- Procure and maintain safety equipment and testing schedules
Required Qualifications
- Capability to lift and carry approx. 50 lbs
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- Forklift operation experience strongly preferred
- Pre-employment background check and personality test are required
- Must be pro-active, detail-oriented, and hands-on
- OSHA 10 Hour Certification/ OSHA 30 Hour Certification (preferred)
