The 1/2” X 4-1/8” Nelson Weld Stud (HCA) is made from low-carbon steel and designed to embed securely into poured concrete. Installed using arc stud welding, it forms a fusion weld stronger than the stud itself. These unthreaded studs are quick to install, compatible with conventional or specialized stud welding equipment, and come with a flat HD ceramic ferrule (inside and outside angle ferrules available upon request).

Conforms to ASTM-A29/A108 and ISO 13918, with C1015 and C1018 being the preferred steels. The composition conforms to the following limits (weight %):
C 0.23 Max
Mn 0.90 Max
P 0.040 Max
S 0.050 Max

Certified Material Test Reports (CMTR) and Certificates of Compliance (COC) are available and must be requested at time of order.
